In the south, between the sea, the scrubland, and the cicadas that never sleep, lies Domaine La Croix Gratiot. A family story that began with Yves and Hugues Ricôme, vineyards, lots of sunshine... and a lofty ambition: to make wines that reflect their terroir without taking themselves too seriously.
Then came Anaïs, a young winemaker brimming with ideas, technical expertise, and energy. Trained in viticulture and sensory analysis, she even traveled to New Zealand before returning with a clear vision: to reduce the surface area, listen more closely to each plot, work cleanly and precisely, first organically and then biodynamically. Less volume, more character: we love it.
Today, 35 hectares between the sea and the hills, a family winery, vibrant biodiversity (bats, hedges, herbs, etc.), and straightforward, bright, fresh wines that evoke the south without being heavy. They are clear, sincere, and incredibly enjoyable to drink.
