L’Audacieux is a Merlot that doesn't pretend to be anything it's not. Made from old vines and aged for a long time in barrels, it has everything a wine that knows what it's doing should have: fruit, depth, and a real presence in the glass. A generous, round red with character but never aggressive.

On the palate, it is ripe, comfortable, and fruity: blackberry, raspberry, a hint of sweet spices. The kind of wine that lingers on the palate... and makes you want a second glass.

Drink now for the charm of the fruit, or keep for 5 to 10 years if you prefer more mellow and rounded wines.

Body 4/5

What does it go well with?

This Merlot pairs well with hearty yet refined dishes:

Consider mushroom risotto, rosemary-roasted lamb, chicken pithiviers, or even truffle-stuffed brie for evenings that take themselves a little seriously (but not too much).
