News from the CEO
Well... we haven't heard from you in a while, so here's what's been happening at T'as un Grain.
The CEO of the multinational (yes, yes) T'as un Grain left the club of 27 to celebrate his 28th birthday. To mark the occasion (and, above all, to take a step back from the project), a short trip to Paris was in order - a chance to take a breather, get some fresh air, and discover some fine addresses.
Among our favorites: Billili, a wine and food cellar run by food enthusiasts. Organic and natural wines, from here and elsewhere, nothing but pleasant surprises. A young, dynamic team, and a great place to share with friends.
As we stroll along, we come across Casa Festa, with asparagus ravioli (yes, asparagus, from Alsace to Paris - it follows us everywhere).
Paris is a hive of ideas, ephemeral terraces on the Seine, and a hint of summer before its time.
And while I'm at it, there's no question of standing still: for over two months, I've been working for a local asparagus grower. It's a real return to the land, and also a chance to see familiar faces in the village, those you've known since you were a child.
What's striking is to see the evolution of this craftswoman of the soil, who after decades of hard work has opened her own store and restaurant. A lesson in self-sacrifice, patience and constancy.
It's always a pleasure to rub shoulders with entrepreneurs who have given their all, and who continue to do so with a smile - and who, in the process, slip you some advice you won't forget.
Ah, and while we're at it...
An interview for the CCI's monthly magazine has been recorded, with a photo shoot to boot.
Your favorite CEO takes the spotlight - I guess!
On a more serious note: the article comes out in mid-July, so we'll be sure to see the results together in a month and a half.
On the corporate side, things are moving too
The site is now available in three languages: French, English and German.
We're continuing to work on the translations, slowly but surely. It takes time to get it right - but we want it to be clean.
A new and slightly different product has arrived! We'll show it to you as soon as it's online.
Last weekend was the Foire Éco Bio d'Alsace. It was an opportunity to meet Rémi from Domaine Haut Ventenac, talk vineyard, and share a good time with friends from the vineyard.
We ended the day at Seppi's, at the Lion d'Or in Kaysersberg: asparagus, saddle of fallow deer, strawberries-rhubarb. A delight from A to Z.
As our friend from Parlons Franc often says: let's eat local!
What next?
We're in the process of planning some little projects for this summer...
If it comes to fruition, you'll be the first to know 😉
