So… what’s next for T’as un Grain?

A fresh start (without losing the grain)

As you read in the last article, we spent three months criss-crossing the markets of central Alsace.

But behind the scenes, we were working on something else: starting — or taking over — a wine bar.

A real dream. A big one. Maybe a bit crazy, but it made our hearts beat faster.

We poured in time, energy, passion… and probably way too much coffee.

But the more we pushed, the less it felt right.

Maybe the project came too soon, maybe it was too big — or maybe it just wasn’t the moment.

So instead of forcing it, we decided to go back to basics.

And honestly? It feels good.

Back to the essentials

T’as un Grain was never meant to be a business plan.

It started with a simple wish: to share good wines, without the fuss — and somehow make a living out of it.

But sometimes, when you rush ahead, you forget why you started in the first place.

So we took September off — to think, and to pick grapes.

(Apparently, it helps clear the head).

That break helped us put things back in order, enjoy selling again, meeting people, telling stories — and shaping what’s next.

The plan now

Continue the markets, of course.

So if you're passing through Place Saint-Joseph in Colmar on Saturday morning, come and say hello.

But we're also developing the export side of things, because we like to look beyond our barnum.

Back to our roots: our studies, our first job, and the desire to take our wines on the road.

The idea is to meet more winemakers, from all regions, refine our selection, and build solid intra-European and export logistics.

This choice also means freedom — no loans to pay back, no rent to stress about, no pressure to sell by the minute.

Just time to get it right.

Keeping the grain

Starting over doesn’t mean going backwards.

(Too philosophical for a Sunday? Maybe.)

T’as un Grain is still the same story: real wines, honest wines — good, simple, and made with care.

As the year wraps up, we’re still delivering locally around central Alsace.
So if a bottle (or a box) catches your eye, just drop us a message.
